On October 28th, Dunamu, the operator of the Korean cryptocurrency trading platform Upbit, announced that it will invest 100 billion won (approximately US$85.43 million) for ESG (environmental, social and governance) purposes.
The three key words of ESG designated by Dunamu are trees, young people and investor protection. In the social field, Dunamu will focus on the younger generation to develop digital financial technology.
Including the cultivation of blockchain-related talents, etc., it also plans to promote the sound development of digital asset investment ecological activities through investor protection activities.
