New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis are collaborating on a cryptocurrency regulatory framework bill that promises clear regulation of cryptocurrencies.

The two senators said the provisions in the bill are still being revised and will be a fundamental regulatory framework bill for how the crypto industry will be regulated in the future. Details of the bill were not disclosed, but the two senators said the bill would not change the definition of a security currently used by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
