On October 28th, Ondo Finance, the DeFi protocol initiated by two former Goldman Sachs employees, officially tweeted that a small error was found in the audited smart contract 0xdea0bdfec2098eb48b6f5284cd9a3e831e7beb13.
One of the letters was converted to certain variable names, causing some ETH to be incorrectly replaced with CVX and YGG. We have initiated a rebalance transaction using the guardian contract to replace the excess CVX and YGG with the correct amount WETH.
No user’s funds are lost. The team will also end the original smart contract, and will soon release the corrected smart contract. At the same time, some excess funds will be allocated, and more details will be shared later.
