On December 25th, according to Twitter user @0xLorenz, Terra Mirror has suffered a serious governance attack. The attacker initiated Proposition 185 in an attempt to steal $38 million worth of MIR tokens from the agreement.
The proposal disguised as a governance request for in-depth cooperation with SOLANA, in an attempt to defraud the community’s approval votes. In addition, the attackers also launched a dozen false governance proposals similar to No. 185 in an attempt to reduce the attention of No. 185 in order to get through.
Terra Mirror was attacked premeditated
The attack is an organized, premeditated, and meticulously planned governance attack in which the attacker manipulated millions of dollars worth of MIR tokens for voting fraud. In order to cover up, the attackers deliberately chose to launch attacks during the Christmas and New Year holidays when the community activity is low. To help Mirror resist governance attacks, we call on MIR holders to vote against Proposal No. 185 and Proposal Nos. 187, 188, 189, 191, 192, 198, 204, 206, 207, and 208 before the voting deadline on December 30. The attackers stole 38 million U.S. dollars in MIR tokens.
