The Promotion Committee for the establishment of the Busan Digital Asset Exchange in South Korea will be launched on December 19. It will be composed of 15 experts from industry and academia, and will play a practical role in implementing the exchange establishment plan.
Busan City plans to establish an exchange holding company in the first half of next year and a market management agency in the second half of next year, aiming to start providing services by the end of next year. According to the specific plan of Busan City, Busan City will establish a total of 7 legal persons next year, including 1 holding company, 3 subsidiaries and 3 market management institutions.
Busan Digital Asset Exchange is responsible for the issuance, listing, trading and management of digital assets, establishes a system that divides transaction targets into securities and non-securities digital assets, and sets up three market management institutions for listing evaluation, market monitoring and supervision, and depository and settlement.
