OpenSea has awarded a $200,000 bounty to two white hat hackers who discovered the vulnerability. One of them is Corben Leo, a security expert and chief marketing officer at security firm Zellic, who discovered a critical OpenSea vulnerability through bug bounty platform HackerOne and said it could be exploited to steal assets.
Another white hat hacker named Nix did not disclose information about the vulnerability. Both received a bounty of $100,000 each. An OpenSea spokesperson confirmed the bounty’s authenticity and said a patch for the vulnerability has been released.
