On January 23, according to CryptoSlam data, secondary market sales of the NBA Top Shot NFT series increased by 72% in the past 30 days, reaching $53.8 million.

This week, NBA Top Shot launched a TV and social media ad campaign featuring NBA superstar Kevin Durant, and is giving out a free Durant NFT “moment” to those who purchase a Top Shot pack for the first time.

For Durant, it’s the latest in a string of crypto campaigns: he’s also previously signed on as an ambassador for Coinbase, and has already invested in the company. And Coinbase became the NBA’s official partner crypto exchange in October last year.
