In recent months, reports surrounding the partnership between Manchester City Football Club and the cryptocurrency company 3Key Technologies have continued. In November last year, The Times reported that Manchester City had terminated its partnership with the company over issues involving the status of its executives.
3Key Technologies is said to be registered in Seychelles, but there is no evidence of its existence in the Seychelles company database. Now, the DailyMail reports that Manchester City has ended its relationship with 3Key Technologies entirely, again suggesting it was unclear who the company’s executives were. It is understood that the brief relationship with 3Key Technologies is not Manchester City’s first foray into encryption. Manchester City is just one of many world football clubs that have recently turned to the crypto industry.
