Japanese communications giant LINE announced that it will launch the NFT marketplace Line NFT on April 13. The marketplace will offer more than 100 NFTs distributed through content partnerships with 17 companies including Yoshimoto Kogyo, a major Japanese entertainment company.
Line said NFTs purchased on the Line NFT marketplace can be stored in the Line BitMEX wallet and can be exchanged with the purchaser’s Line App friends.
In addition, Coinpost added that Line plans to expand NFTs to overseas markets, launching the global NFT platform DOSI to 180 countries within this month. Earlier news, South Korean Internet company Naver established a cooperative relationship with LINENEXT, a blockchain and NFT subsidiary of social giant LINE, to seek cooperation in the NFT field.
