Tsuji said that Hello Kitty’s image has penetrated the offline and virtual world, and is currently seeking partnerships with Amazon, Netflix and other tech giants and launching NFTs.
Tsuji Tomobang revealed that Sanrio is currently building a team, which is expected to be established in April, with the goal of creating global characters and stepping into the metaverse and NFTs, eventually competing with Disney’s Mickey Mouse, Princess Elsa and other brands.
