Benoît de Juvigny, secretary-general of the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF), told reporters that cryptocurrency firms fleeing the United States are “welcome”.
EU member states already have around 74 registered cryptocurrency companies, including Binance and Bitstamp, and with the implementation of the just-agreed MiCA EU crypto legislation, more than 100 companies may be registered in France.
It is reported that the cryptocurrency service asset provider system, known as PSAN, was legislated in 2019.
