Facebook independently discloses laboratory performance

On October 26th, Facebook plans to begin disclosing its performance as an independent department from the fourth quarter. Starting in the fourth quarter, Facebook will report two parts of revenue and operating profit: the first part is the application series, which will include Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and other services; the second part is the Facebook reality lab, It will include hardware, software and content related to augmented and virtual reality. In addition, Facebook expects that its investment in its reality lab will reduce its overall operating profit in 2021 by approximately US$10 billion.
