According to news on October 27, the European Central Bank (ECB) has established an advisory group for the digital euro project, called the Digital Euro Market Advisory Group, composed of 30 members from well-known European banks and economic institutions.
Including Societe Generale Bank, Nordic Bank, Union São Paulo Bank, Swedish Bank, Post Bank and Deutsche Bank.
The committee will have a say in the design, issuance and value of this new digital currency, and provide support for the payment ecosystem, which may begin its development phase in two years.
