Digital asset trading platform Bakkt announces multi-faceted cooperation with Google

On October 8th, the digital asset trading platform Bakkt announced today that it has established a partnership with Google to expand the coverage of digital assets and meet rapidly changing consumer needs and preferences. Bakkt users will be able to add their virtual Bakkt Visa debit card (“Bakkt card”) to Google Pay to purchase daily goods and services online, in-store, or anywhere that accepts Google Pay. Digital assets such as Bitcoin will be converted into legal tender to make these payments.
