According to the April crypto market analysis data released by The Block, BTC/ETH futures open interest and options open interest both fell, and Bitcoin futures open interest and Ethereum futures open interest both appeared in April this year. The trading volume of Bitcoin futures contracts and ethereum futures contracts also fell, with the monthly trading volume of Bitcoin futures falling to $1.03 trillion, a drop of 20.2%.
Open interest on CME’s Bitcoin futures also fell, to $2.06 billion, down 27.2% in April, and average daily trading volume fell 14.7% to $1.39 billion. In terms of open interest in CME’s ethereum futures, monthly volume shrank to $573 billion, or 6.9%.
On the options front, both Bitcoin options and ethereum options open interest declined in April. Separately, the trading volume of Bitcoin options decreased, but the trading volume of Ethereum options increased, the monthly Bitcoin options trading volume in April fell to $15.7 billion, a decrease of 22.7%, while the trading volume of Ethereum options increased to $15.7 billion. $12.2 billion, an increase of 7%.
