On March 9th, Bullish, a cryptocurrency trading platform owned by Block.one, announced that the average daily trading volume of the exchange in February 2022 will be $213 million, and the annualized monthly trading revenue will be $97 million.
Since the platform opened for select institutional clients in licensed jurisdictions on November 24, 2021, and to the public in late December 2021, the exchange’s total trading volume has exceeded $14 billion.
Currently, the platform offers 5 trading pairs, and more tokens are expected to come online this year. Additionally, Bullish also announced that they have agreed to extend the external termination date under a business combination agreement from March 8, 2022 to May 9, 2022 to facilitate the completion of the business combination.
It is understood that Bullish will seek a public listing on the New York Stock Exchange in a business combination agreement entered into by Bullish and Far Peak on July 8, 2021. The business combination is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2022.
