According to news on October 27, people familiar with the matter said that the British digital bank Monzo is conducting a new round of financing negotiations and is expected to complete approximately US$400 million in financing at a valuation of more than US$4 billion.
The company hired FT Partners, an investment bank focused on financial technology, to manage this round of financing. Monzo declined to comment.
Its existing investors include Y Combinator, General Catalyst, Accel, Stripe, Thrive Capital, Orange Ventures, Goodwater Capital, Novator, Kaiser and TED Global.
