Bollywood superstar and Indian icon Amitabh Bachchan reportedly paid more than $130,700 (approximately INR 10 million) for the sale of non-forgerable tokens (NFTs) in November last year for goods and Service Tax (GST).
At an auction organized by Beyondlife, a joint venture between Rhiti Entertainment and GuardianLink.io, Bachchan’s NFTs reportedly sold for around $966,000 on the beyondlife.club platform and will be subject to an 18 percent GST.
The collection includes the “Madhushala” NFT series, the actor’s account of a poem written by his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan, and seven old posters with autographs, among others.
