Bitcoin miner BIT Mining entered into a sale and purchase agreement with an unnamed third party for a 51% stake in Loto Interactive. After the transaction, BIT Mining holds an 8.79% stake. BIT Mining said the move is in line with the company’s plans to continue expanding in the United States.
It is reported that BIT Mining controlled three bitcoin mining farms in China through Loto Interactive before the official crackdown last year. Loto Interactive was formerly an online lottery business that transformed into bitcoin mining.
