Bitcoin of America announces the launch of BillPay, a new service offered through self-service ATMs. BillPay allows customers to pay utility bills through Bitcoin America’s ATM kiosk functionality, and if customers need cash, they have the option to sell their cryptocurrency, get cash, and use it to pay utility company bills.
Companies that can pay with BillPay include Comed and Nicor. BillPay is currently available to customers using US Bitcoin virtual currency kiosks in Illinois and Texas.
This feature will be rolling out to more states soon. Bitcoin of America is the first to offer bill payment through its ATM kiosk functionality.
