Binance has ceased services in the country after the Israel Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings Authority questioned the local activity and its license to operate. According to data disclosed by the regulator, some 200,000 Israelis currently use Binance’s services, and they have approached Binance about cryptocurrency trading activities and asked for clarification on the relevant licenses.
According to Israeli local media Globes, citing the requirements of the Israel Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings Authority: “Until the review and licensing issues are over, Binance will stop marketing to Israelis at this stage and stop all activities focused on the Israeli market.”
