Orlando Bravo, co-founder of private equity firm Thoma Bravo, said he owns Bitcoin and is “very optimistic” about Bitcoin
“Why don’t you like cryptocurrencies?” the billionaire said at CNBC’s Delivery Alpha conference on Wednesday.
Bravo stated that he likes the limited supply of Bitcoin, and he expects more people to use it in the future. Institutions have just begun to accept digital currency, and once this happens, it will be beneficial to demand.
This September was a difficult month for Bitcoin. It has fallen by about 11% so far this month and is expected to hit its worst monthly performance since May.
At 11:47 noon in New York time, the price of Bitcoin reported $41,789.50, which is still up 44% this year. In 2020, the currency has tripled.
